Jeff Studio 304

This was the perfect hotel for a weekend away. The location was great, check in and check out were a breeze and the hotel was clean and beautiful! It had everything we needed with an eye for detail!

We enjoyed our stay at the Jeff. It was nice to be able to see a show at the Jefferson then walk up to our room. The room was comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again!

Nice, affordable, convienent to shopping and dinning and parking was covered too!

This was a perfect, on the square, location for our overnight stop. The building and our room were clean, comfortable and much more inviting than a standard hotel room. Arrival communication was great. Thanks for offering this unique venue.

I’ve recommended The Jeff to every person I know that’s going to Charlottesville, especially to see a show or enjoy downtown. The rooms are amazing. Well appointed and incredibly comfortable. Staying at The Jeff allows one to experience Charlottesville almost as if you live there. Any needs are immediately addressed by a responsive and wonderfully helpful staff just by calling. I hope it never changes and remains just the right special place for those that want to be a part of a special town.

Since I saw a concert at the Jefferson Theatre, the Jeff Hotel was by far the most convenient place to stay. Since I was travelling alone, being able to walk to dinner, to the show, and then to go right upstairs to my room was amazing. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfy. The shower was huge. I really enjoyed, and I'll be watching the schedule at the Theatre so I can plan another trip. Excellent choice!

Knowing that all aspects were automated, we expected problems but EVERYTHING WORKED! Exactly as it was supposed to! Door codes worked every time, the parking validation worked - amazing!!! Plus the room was lovely - interesting art, comfortable bed, great shower. I loved the electric teapot. Here's my one criticism: one side of the bed was against the wall, making it difficult for us oldsters (me) to get out at night. We would stay with you again and will recommend you to others. Thank you.

Greatly enjoyed our brief stay at the Jeff. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Being able to park for free nearby was a nice perk. Loved being right in the middle of the pedestrian mall.

Easy access. Very comfortable room and very quiet. Excellent location; I was in town for work and loved being able to grab a bite on the mall and be back in my room moments later. I’ll be returning!

Surprised my husband and booked The Jeff for a one night stay to see a show at The Ting Pavilion. Perfect night to walk along Main Street, eat, drink, and watch REK. The room was just like the photo! I needed an iron and the room did not have one so we had some wrinkled clothes the next morning but when you have the most amazing night it doesn’t really matter! Our stay was perfect and when in Charlottesville we will always stay at The Jeff!

Thank you for the review! We thought an iron and ironing board would make the space a bit cluttered, so we provide a steamer. It's usually hiding in one of the bathroom vanity drawers. We would love to host you all again, so please reach out next time you're in town!

My wife and I booked studio room 304 for an overnight stay to celebrate our anniversary. The room was better than we expected. The room was setup wonderfully. The inclusion of the sound machine to block out noise was great and the shower was incredible. We have no complaints and will stay there again!

The host was amazing! We had batteries that were dead in the remote and I messaged to ask if there was anything we could do and he told me where to find them to replace them! We also unfortunately heard a dog barking continuously at night in one of the rooms and he reached out to the tenant and handled it super kindly and professionally. The location could not be better! We loved how easy access was to the Mall and the parking validation made it super easy. I would absolutely recommend staying here again!

We were so happy with our stay at the Jeff Hotel. It was our anniversary and we went to a concert at the Southern which was a short 2 minute walk. We would stay here again for sure. Thank you for your accomodations!

This was a really fun place to stay! Right downtown, literally part of the theater (access through the box office ha!). My room was super nice - new furnishings, great bathroom, window looking out onto the street. A few notes:- This is not a real hotel (no staff, etc.) so don't expect the same level of services you would get in a hotel. However, being right downtown makes some of that easier. And it really is super nice.- Nespresso machines, TVs, and bluetooth speakers in room.- Very comfy bed.- Don't know about windows for south-facing rooms; north-facing rooms point out over street. Lots of light.- If you want to check out after 11, there is a fee (as of this writing, ~$50).- Don't push the button in the shower! It's meant for a bath hookup, but there is none, so it gets stuck.

We had an awesome stay at the Jefferson Hotel. Parking and self check-in was quite easy, and the hotel / room were even better than pictured. Beautiful view, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a unique hotel in Charlottesville - we hope to make it there again before long!

If you are looking for a really convenient place to stay on the downtown mall in Charlottesville, then The Jeff is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are decorated with a clean and modern vibe and the bed is very comfortable. They even provide a noise maker, so I didn't need the one I brought with me; these are great to create white noise to block out any exterior noise or help block out your husband's loud snoring! There was a great option for hot tea or coffee in the room. The second floor rooms are larger, but if you don't need extra space for work, then the third floor rooms are fine for bathing and sleeping. The only thing I would recommend that would be nice would be for the hotel to provide bottles of water; there is no in room fridge.

The Jeff Studio #304 was the perfect little space for me and my boyfriend to have a quick get away. Its location on the pedestrian mall made it the perfect choice for us because we were able to walk to all the sights and places we wanted to visit. The check in process was seamless as there were no difficulties getting in to the hotel or our room. We were sad to leave the next day and will definitely be coming back again in the future!
