The Jeff rocks! My second time did not disappoint. Great location and great place. I'll be back!

What a great "hidden in plain sight" property. We enjoyed the convenience of walking out the door to all the downtown mall's offerings. The suite was roomy, clean, comfy and quiet. We did not stay when the Jefferson was holding performances, so don't know how that would impact ones stay. Only complaint was that there was a faint constant sulfurous odor in the bathroom. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

- great location - big, cute, and clean room (gorgeous bathroom and shower!) - extra amenities from hotel room (2 tvs, sink, Nespresso machine, steamer, etc.) - no noise (even though it was Tom Tom weekend) - easy access - great customer service The only thing to keep in mind is to firmly close the door behind you- the carpet prevents the door from swinging shut.

Can’t wait for next time

Very pleased with our stay. If I had to make a critique it would be a bigger ice maker but having the ice make period was nice so I can't complain. Wife loved the style/decor and the Bluetooth Marshall speaker was a plus for her. Hope too see more shows while staying with you.

The Jeff Hotel was unique, stylish, and comfortable. Right in the heart of downtown, it was fun to explore the surrounding area. Room had good amenities and nice decor. Very pleased with our stay.

The lead up to the visit was very extremely organized via texting etc. The place was super clean, very comfortable and well, the Location, speaks for itself! Loved it and i hesitate to share the experience with others (just Kidding!) because I don't want the secret to get out! Thanks and see you soon! Ed

Location was amazing, price was great, parking and access were easy and well explained. Only drawbacks, TV’s took a little knowledge to get working(even for a resort maintence supervisor) and the master bed was a little hard for my liking, the pillows kicked ass! On a whole, fantastic experience! I stayed with my 11 & 13yr old daughters and when they walked in they both said: “Dad, did we win some money or something?” Thanks for an amazing stay, that allowed for such a perfect home base for my girls first Punk Rock Concert!!!!

We stayed at The Jeff for a conference being held close by. It was SO convenient to park at the Water Street garage and walk over to our room. We were able to walk back and forth daily and take the car out at night if we wanted to venture out further. The room was just fantastic! It was so cozy! The mattresses were both very comfortable (important if you have a bad back) and it was surprisingly quiet. One thing to note- this is an older building and the stairs were a bit narrow and steep, so plan accordingly when you're checking in and out if you have any physical difficulties. I'll definitely come back. This is a perfect spot to stay for a work trip or a fun weekend.

Cute place close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

I almost hate to post this for fear of The Jeff being "discovered" but this place is a truly a hidden little gem. Checking in and out was a breeze and the place was clean, immaculately appointed and with a great bed. The location makes exploring the city a breeze and the validated parking is an added bonus. Made for a great nights sleep while I was in town working on my house renovation. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

We loved our stay at the Jef Hotel! It was a perfect location on the Downtown Mall. The accommodations were comfortable and the location was perfect since we were seeing a concert right downstairs. We will definitely come back again!

I quite enjoyed our stay at the Jeff. It was located right in the heart of everything. It was clean and spacious.

We loved the time we spent at The Jeff. The room was very comfortable and well laid out. The location in Charlottesville was ideal. Right on Main Street, there were numerous restaurants to visit. Though the parking was near by, we never moved the car and instead found a new restaurant to visit. The only drawback was the WiFi. Despite reaching out to staff and getting an alternative login, we never had dependable WiFi during our stay and used a mobile hotspot instead.

Thank you for your review! We received feedback from a few guests about the Wifi issue and had a tech out this past weekend to perform some updates to the system and can say we are back up and running.

Nicely decorated space in a great location. Entrance/check in was easy. Parking garage isn't too far from the property. You're right in the heart of historic Charlottesville - so awesome. I would definitely stay there again.

The location is great, right on the mall. But for all the activities going on, the room was so quiet. The bed is very comfortable and the room is spacious. The only thing that it needs is a full length mirror. I would definitely stay here again.

The Jeff is a hidden gem in the walking mall. My suite was a good size. The sheets were so soft. I loved the Nespresso machine. There was a lot of natural light in the room. I'd stay here again.

The Jeff Hotel is a gem waiting to be discovered for anyone wanting to visit Charlottesville and enjoy all that the area has to offer. Our suite was perfect for a friend getaway with every consideration made for our comfort. It is worth remembering that the hotel is located right above the Jefferson Theater! We enjoyed the very loud 80s dance party downstairs without leaving our room.

Hands down my favorite place to stay on the mall. Location can't be beat, and we loved the suite's decor and large bathroom. Check in/out was a breeze, and the parking was really convenient. Will be staying here whenever I visit cville.
